On February 17, nine TIR (International Road Transport) vehicles from Qingdao West Coast Lida International Logistics Co., Ltd., loaded with auto parts, departed from the China Transfar (SCO) International Logistics Port. They will depart through the Manchuria Highway Port in Inner Mongolia and are expected to arrive in St. Petersburg, Russia, eight days later. This represents the largest single shipment of TIR vehicles from Qingdao since the opening of Shandong Province's first "China-Russia Dedicated Line" international road transport corridor on September 21 of last year.
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of international logistics corridors, the Qingdao Municipal Transportation Development Center has provided guidance to transportation companies in licensing, vehicle additions, and trade cooperation, laying the foundation for the launch of dedicated land transport routes for international logistics corridors. Since the opening of the "China-Russia Dedicated Line" TIR international road transport corridor, 21 vehicles have been dispatched, transporting over 300 tons of cargo with a value exceeding 10 million yuan.
Next, Qingdao will build on the regular operation of the "China-Russia Line" and strive to expand new TIR transport routes, such as those between China and Kyrgyzstan and China and Ukraine. This will encourage more companies to participate in international road transport operations, further promote the integration of the four ports of "sea, land, air, and rail," and establish a modern logistics operation system characterized by "channels, hubs, and networks."
